Though it was bitterly cold on New Year's Eve, Cynon and Ponty's finest (!) were once again pounding the streets of Mountain Ash. Along with Ioan Bellin, Plaid's candidate for Pontypridd, I ran the Nos Galan race for the second time. The atmosphere was great with a lot of support from the crowd - a big thank you to the organisers. I also saw lots of old friends, most of whom were running. It is an excellent event, particularly if, like me, you had a little too much turkey and Christmas pudding, so why not join us next year!
The picture is of both of us before the run. My wife claimed we were running too fast to get a picture of us as we went past the spectators - I think she was being kind!
